Added a half dozen images to my website yesterday, will be putting up some more soon.
My good friends Keith & Laura are getting married at the end of this month. We spent the 4th hanging out on the beach with my dog and taking some photos.
I have some recent tearsheets I need to scan, here’s one I did a few months ago for American Motorcyclist.
Website update coming soon.
Had the chance to do some personal work this past week. Many thanks to my friend Leigh Poindexter for lending her styling skills and her shop Very Happy Everything for the clothes, props, and sweet taxidermy animals.
Big Sur

I have been kind of neglecting this blog, but for good reason - I have been busy working with a stylist friend of mine on a personal project that I am really excited about. This past weekend I used it as a convenient excuse to take a little vacation to go down to Big Sur for some camping right along the river among the redwoods. I have had such tunnel vision since moving west that I kind of forgot that there is more to California than the Bay Area. Driving down Highway 1 for the first time was a great experience, and I could not believe how beautiful the forest was. Perfect weather, and I got what I needed photo wise - the above two images are of the sky near the campground. The first is a single 30 second exposure, and the second is a combination of 80 of those showing the rotation of the earth on it’s axis.
Another image from the “sleepwalker” shoot I did last month.

When I was a kid I was pretty obsessed with Legos, my brother and our friends would build castles and spaceships for hours. Setting up for this shot reminded me of that. Many thanks to my multi-talented friend Teresa Lee for modeling and prop styling.
